Taking Preventive Healthcare Closer to the Community

Tudu, Accra · 30 May 2026 — More than 200 community members participated in EMPORA’s documented medical screening. The programme combined community mobilisation, health education, screening for HIV, hypertension and other priority health conditions, identification of people requiring further assessment, and referral/linkage to appropriate healthcare services.

Empowering Girls Through Knowledge, Health and Confidence

Taifa Community School, Accra · 2026 — EMPORA delivered menstrual and adolescent-health education aimed at approximately 75 adolescent girls and provided sanitary products. The session addressed menstrual hygiene, puberty, nutrition, self-care, dignity, confidence and when to seek healthcare.
